Everyone deserves an early warning. We make sure they get one.

Climate change induced disasters are putting all of us at risk - some more than others.

Early warnings give us a fighting chance. And many people don’t have one.

Our mission is to create and deploy robust, rapid and reliable early warning systems in some of Pakistan’s most vulnerable and remote areas.

^Some of our work in action

How?

We work with high-risk communities in two key ways:

1. Building widescale awareness around disaster risk: We partner with local organizations to conduct awareness seminars for community members, particularly children at schools, to ensure they are aware of key hazards in their areas and best practices to protect themselves.

2. Improving existing warning systems:
We deploy an automated early warning system that utilizes extreme rainfall/monsoon and glacier melt warnings to trigger alarms at local community centers, such as mosques, across the area at-risk ensuring that the public is ready for disasters, specifically flash flooding.

We aim to provide both long-term and short-term warnings and instructions to enhance the community’s response to minimize the loss of life.
